Momentum Broker Solutions, the support and development service for new and existing insurance brokers, has strengthened its team with the appointment of a new marketing manager and an apprentice insurance broker.
Marketing manager, Dominic Coghlan, has joined Momentum from The Tall Group of Companies, where he was group marketing manager. In his role, Dominic will be responsible for all marketing activity at Momentum and will oversee the marketing support provided to the network of Appointed Representatives.
Howard Pepper, managing director of Momentum said: “Marketing forms a key part of our strategy to support our existing partners to grow their businesses and expand our membership by the addition of high quality start up and existing independent brokerages. We are very pleased to welcome Dominic to the team and wish him every success.”
Momentum’s newest apprentice insurance broker, Josh Fidler, has also been welcomed to the company. During his two year apprenticeship, Josh will receive full on and off-the-job training to become a broker, dealing with new business, renewals and MTAs in both business and personal lines.
The scheme, offered in conjunction with Babington College, Derby, is the sixth apprenticeship offered by Momentum in the past five years and will provide Josh with a Cert CII qualification in Insurance Broking.
Howard Pepper said: “Apprenticeships are important for us in identifying and developing talented new brokers. We make sure that we equip our apprentices with the skills and technical expertise to have a successful career at Momentum as the company continues to grow.”
